PULSE OXIMETER WITH ALARM INFORMATION

Pulse oximeters with alarms have either audible and visual notifications or vibration when oxygen saturation (SpO2 %) and/orheart rate readings exceed a pre-set value. Alarming oximeters allow thesettings for both oxygen and pulse rate to be changed based on the users needs.

Oximeters with alarms can be used for continuous, sleep, or home use. The audible alarms areloud enough on hand-helds and tabletops to wake a sleeping person or notify anearby caregiver. Vibration alarms (no sound) are designed to only notify theperson using the oximeter.

Hand held, table top, fingerand wrist oximeters with optional alarms and the proper sized sensorcan be used on infants, pediatrics and adults.

Pulse oximeter alarm setting:

SpO2 - Alarms can be set for only when the reading goes below acertain value. Most oximeters default alarm setting is 90% or below.

Heart Rate - Alarms can be set for both low and high levels.Default alarm levels are different for each manufacturer.
